Role:Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Software Quality Assurance and Testing Team
Location: Princeton, NJ
Number of openings: 4
Experience: 5-10 years
Summary: The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for functional tests, usability tests, scope verification tests, performance & stress test IPcelerate products/applications/procedures
The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organizational abilities. The candidate should be able to work in fast and varied environments.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Includes the following, while other duties may be assigned as required:
- Understand quality assurance standards and practices and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Create and maintain quality assurance artifacts. Artifacts include, but are not limited to, test cases, test plans, testing strategies, and test execution reports
- Estimate test cycles, producing regular status reports, and prioritizing tasks
- Ability to setup, configure, and maintain several network devices such as servers, routers, and switches
- Ability to analyze network layer protocols using tools such as wireshark
- Install and maintain test environments, including installations of operating systems
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail
- Use of industry standard defect tracking tool and quality/test management tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the candidate should be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Education and/or experience:
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science and/or Cisco Certifications
- 5-10 years of previous experience as QA engineer
- Must possess superior skills in creating test cases and use cases documentation
- Must possess superior skills in SDLC understanding and measuring deviation from inception to product/application delivery
- Must possess superior skills in using performance measurement tools for HTTP based load tests
- Must possess superior skills in using performance measurement tools for system based load tests
- Excellent knowledge of windows environment
- Experience in structured environment with increasing level of complexity and responsibility
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communications skills

- Successful delivery of assigned application development tasks and projects and problem solving
- Effective coordination of project v. task needs v. operational requirements with teammates and the organization
- Positive contributions to the organization beyond the scope of normal responsibilities

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technology periodicals, professional journals or technical procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Reasoning/Analytical Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
