Broadcast Paging

IPsession provides the ability to broadcast mass notifications and emergency communications to IP phones, desktop PCs, overhead speakers and digital signage. The broadcast paging features can deliver live/pre-recorded audio, ad-hoc/pre-configured text, and text-to-speech. With the push of a button on an IP phone or a mouse-click via the IPsession web interface messages can be delivered to a variety of endpoints and paging groups.

Broadcast paging is used by organizations for the following:

  • Emergency alert notifications to employees, students and emergency response teams
  • Stealth lock-down messages and information without notifying the intruder
  • Broadcasting sales information to all employees
  • Company reminders to departments of daily, weekly or monthly tasks
  • Project related messages to a project team

The broadcast paging features can be extended using the following:

  • Mass Messaging - paging groups can be included in a Mass Messaging configuration
  • CalScheduler - using paging groups and an intuitive calendar interface to set up bell schedules
  • RFID Integration - leverage existing paging groups to send notifications when an RFID sensor is triggered (door/window opens, motion, smoke, flooding, etc.)

The broadcast paging features of IPsession include the following:
