Conferencing

IPsession provides a way to efficiently establish conference calls. Conference calls can be quickly setup by an employee or can be automatically setup by IPsession. Employees can create their own conference groups or leverage conference groups configured by the IPsession administrators.

The following IPsession features are part of the enhanced conferencing functionality:

• Pre-Programmed Conference (PPC) - with a push of a button an employee can set up a conference call with their own personal conference group or a conference group configured by the IPsession administrators.
• Pre-Scheduled Conference (Hoot-n-Holler, HNH) - IPsession will establish a conference call with the configured conference group at the configured date/time.

Organizations are using this in the following ways:

• Project teams need to have an ad-hoc conference call when changes to a project come up or provide information when milestones are reached.
• A weekly sales team conference call is automatically set up every Friday at 10:00 AM.
• A conference group is part of a Mass Messaging emergency response configuration. When the Mass Messaging is triggered, a conference call is established between emergency response team members.
