DialOut
IPsession provides a way to extend message notification to mobile phones, home phones and other work phones that are not part of your unified communications network. The DialOut features provide a way to send live/pre-recorded/text-to-speech messages to groups of phone numbers in an ad-hoc or scheduled manner.
Organizations are using the DialOut feature in the following ways:
- Government agencies are using DialOut to notify contractors of license renewals, notify residents of upcoming city events and notify when there are public service outages.
- Schools are using DialOut to notify parents and students of school closures, classroom or assignment changes and emergency lock-down events.
- Doctor's offices are using DialOut for appointment reminders, health and medical advisories and medication (flu) arrivals.
The DialOut feature can be combined with the following features to expand and streamline your notifications:
- DialOut groups can be configured as part of Mass Alert Messaging and when the mass messaging feature is invoked a message is delivered to mobile phones, home phones and work phones.
- Using IPfusion, DialOut groups can be generated from your company's existing databases and ensuring phone numbers are accurate and users get the messages.
