Emergency Response

IPsession provides the ability to enhance your emergency response process and policies. Knowing from where and when a call to emergency services (911) is initiated expedites your internal response time. Use Mass Alert Messaging to quickly notify internal/external first responders of an emergency situation and establish a conference call with emergency response teams. Leveraging RFID sensors, you will be able to immediately know when and where events are occurring.

The following are features that make up the IPsession emergency response solution:

  • Internal 911 Alerts - When a user in your unified communications network dials 911, an alert notification message is distributed showing from where and when the call was made.
  • Priority Color Alert Messages - Depending on the phone number dialed (911, 5500, etc.), alert messages are delivered with a priority number and background color. This helps the receiver of the message quickly determine the severity level of the alert message.
  • Mass Alert Messaging - Using a single touch or mouse click, this feature provides the ability to send a broadcast page, DialOut, email and establish a conference call. Mass Messaging is used for campus lock-downs, chemical leaks, 911 calls, inclement weather and more.

Enhance your emergency response solution by adding the following capabilities:

  • IP Cameras - map Internal 911 Alerts and RFID sensors to IP cameras so that when notification messsages are sent, you can also view what is going on in that area via the IP Phone.
  • IPfusion - use existing company databases so that when mass messaging is invoked, the DialOut uses the most up-to-date information from your database.
  • Monitor 'stealth' lock down paging group numbers to deliver alert notifications.
