School Event Promotion

The high school drama club uses their talent show as their major fund raising event to offset their trip to England each summer. They place announcements on the walls in the high school and on the school district’s website. Each year their show gets rave reviews, but there are always seats available because people are not aware of the event. There are many clubs and district sports teams that would also benefit from this rapid notification method to students and parents.  The school district has 1,400 phones.

Solution

The focus of this solution is a flexible, accessible Dial Out application where multiple users create and maintain their groups, or the groups are maintained automatically through database integrations.

• Multiple users access the Dial Out application, creating their own groups, maintaining the contact no.’s within their groups, and initiating the Dial Out events as needed.
• Receive Dial Out report to email for quick viewing of acknowledgements indicating turn out for fund raising events
• Initiate Dial Out from web based GUI, IP phone, or off-network phone allowing users to broadcast message to recipients any time, from anywhere
